LevitasBio was founded by Stanford University researchers who discovered a new method of sample preparation using magnetic levitation — separating healthy cells from unhealthy ones rapidly and with extraordinary precision.
When the founding team came to Brandmates, they had world-class technology and a blank canvas. No brand. No messaging. No web presence. They needed a partner who could build it all — fast enough to support fundraising, clear enough to reach scientists, and credible enough to hold up through four funding rounds.
Brandmates has served as LevitasBio's exclusive marketing and creative partner for over five years — building and running every aspect of the brand as the company scaled from seed through commercialization.

What we built.
01 — Brand foundation
Logo, identity, guidelines, and positioning built from scratch.
Built the entire visual identity from zero — logo, color system, typography, brand voice, and guidelines. Created a custom illustration style to make magnetic levitation technology understandable to non-specialist audiences.
02 — Messaging & strategy
Customer research and positioning that evolved through every funding round.
Deep research across scientific, commercial, and investor audiences — building distinct messaging frameworks for each. Positioning that simplified without dumbing down, and evolved as the product and market matured.
03 — Web & growth
Full site design, development, and ongoing evolution.
Designed and built the LevitasBio website from the ground up — and rebuilt it multiple times as the company grew. Doubled time on site and conversion rate through improved architecture and messaging.
