A breakthrough AI product. Marketing that hadn't caught up.
Mashgin built a computer-vision model that recognizes hundreds of thousands of food and beverage items in a split second — trained on over a billion impressions and operating at 99.99% accuracy across stadiums, cafeterias, and convenience stores.
The technology was years ahead of the competition. The brand and marketing weren't. The in-house team knew what needed to happen but lacked the creative talent, bandwidth, and AI-powered production capacity to execute at the level the product deserved.
Mashgin brought in Brandmates as a long-term embedded creative and strategic partner to close the gap between product quality and brand presence across web, video, and product marketing.
SCOPE
What we built.
01 — Web & identity
Complete site redesign and Webflow CMS build
Full site redesign and development — new architecture, brand book, visual identity, messaging hierarchy, and a scalable Webflow CMS built to be owned and operated by the internal team.
02 — AI product render
3D rendering and motion animation of complex AI hardware
Using AI-assisted 3D pipelines and Runway for animation, produced a full suite of product renders and motion graphics — bringing complex hardware to life for web, sales, and demand gen.
03 — Messaging & positioning
Product narrative rebuilt to match the sophistication of the technology
Rebuilt product messaging from feature-heavy copy to outcome-led positioning — communicating the real commercial value of Mashgin's AI to buyers across retail, hospitality, and enterprise.

Production-quality renders in days, not weeks.
Traditional product rendering for complex IoT hardware — cameras, sensors, access control devices — would require a full 3D studio, weeks of modeling, and significant production budget. We used AI-assisted rendering and animation pipelines to produce campaign-quality assets in days, then
handed the system to Rhombus to run independently.
